CCNMTL congratulates the recipients of the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Teaching. The awards are given to current Columbia faculty who have had a significant influence on the intellectual development of students at the University. The 2011 recipients were:

Mary Sheila S. Coronel
Toni Stabile Professor of Professional Practice in Investigative Journalism, Graduate School of Journalism

Kenneth B. Frampton
Ware Professor of Architecture, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation

Richard A. Korb
Senior Lecturer in German in the Department of Germanic Languages

Richard Locke
Professor of Professional Practice in Writing, School of the Arts

Jill S. Shapiro
Lecturer in the Discipline of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology, Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology
