The U.S. Department of Education awarded Columbia University's School of Dental & Oral Surgery, CCNMTL, and partners approximately $500,000 over three years through the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE). CCNMTL will receive approximately $162,000 of the grant.

The goals of the project are to produce and evaluate a Personalized Life-Long Learning Plan curriculum that will provide advanced didactic training in postgraduate dentistry to dental residents in clinical sites distant from universities.
