lynda.gif July 16, 2009. Columbia University faculty, staff, and students now have easy access to video-based training modules on all things technology at Lynda.com. The University recently acquired a one-year subscription to the online service, which provides a robust online library of comprehensive instructional videos ranging from the basics of Microsoft Office applications to more complex how-tos on web development. Users can easily search Lynda.com videos by subject, software, vendor, and author, and the library is continually updated with new videos on a variety of subjects.

There are two method for Columbia users to access Lynda.com:
