Q: How do I get started with the discussion board?

Q: In the discussion board, how can I post a new topic and not reply to someone else's posting?

• Next to each category there is a 'New' option. Click on this link to create a new topic under that category. Unless you have changed the discussion board's options, students will not be able to create new topics within categories. Therefore, they will only be able to respond to your topics or the messages left by their peers.
