Q: Is there a way I can have students take a survey, but still make the results anonymous?

• Yes, click on the "Test & Quiz" section. Create your survey by selecting the button "Create Test" and activating the survey option. After you have created your survey, you can check on the results by clicking on the "Results" button and checking the "distribution" of your survey. The results are anonymous.

Q: I want to create a quiz contained in a separate file. How can I ensure that my students will be able to download the file/quiz? How will my students be able to submit the quiz/file?

• You can use the Test & Quiz section to create an online test or quiz. There are options to create timed quizzes, which only allow students to access the quiz during times you specify.

Grade Book

Q: I just set up the Grade Book for my course, and it seems to stall when I try to get into it. Are there settings to fix this problem?

• Wait a few moments to let the page load. Once the page is loaded, go to "Options" and change your settings to display fewer students or items. This will generate a smaller page, and it will open more quickly.
