Conflicts of Interest and Mentoring Directed Learning Experiences

Partner(s): Daniel Vasgrid, Ruth Fischbach - College of Physicians & Surgeons

Members of the university community balance conflicts of interest and serve as mentors or benefit from working with a mentor. These self-directed learning experiences employ fictional case studies and provide resources illuminating the challenges researchers face every day while offering expert guidance on best ethical practices. The Columbia Center for Bioethics and the Office of Responsible Conduct of Research developed the content for this project; their work was supported by a grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services.
