News Budget

In the Columbia School of Journalism's Bronx Beat course, students write weekly stories for the Bronx Beat Newspaper. Prior to this project there was no means to keep a running list of each story for a particular issue of the Bronx Beat newspaper. CCNMTL created a "News Budget" database that shows all the story features on one page and enables students to update story status. A similar system is in use at the New York Times.
