Students learn to apply global climate forecast models to local environments through an online text, figures, and exercises that use a custom online mapping environment based on GrADS (Grid Analysis and Display System) software developed by the Institute for Global Environment and Society at the Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies.
