Commencement of the 248th Academic Year, May 2002

The Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL) proudly broadcasts Columbia University Commencement and congratulates all of the graduates of the 248th Academic Year.

Use the table below to tune in to the appropriate broadcast. All broadcast will also be available after the events for on-demand viewing. Please insure that your computer has the appropriate media players and network bandwidth to receive the broadcast.

You now have the option to download a real media file of the event. Next to each event there is a link labeled as 'File'. Follow these simple instruction to download them to your computer:

  • For PC Users: Right click on the 'File' link and select 'Save Target As'. Choose the directory where you would like to store the file and press the 'Save' button.

  • For Mac Users: Click on the 'File' link while also depressing the control button. Select 'Download Link to Disk' and choose the directory where you would like to store the file.

Please keep in mind that these are big files and will take up a lot of space on your hard drive. Due to numerous requests, we are making a limited number of VHS tapes of the raw footage from Commencement for graduates wanting a higher quality version. The tapes can be picked up in 204 Butler for a processing fee of $20 (cash only). Call the office at 854-9058 for further information.
