Director's Notebook is designed to aid students in the conceptualization, planning, and visualization activities involved in the film-directing process. The Director's Notebook project provides students with a digital work space that is closely integrated with the curricular experiences of Professor Proferes' Directing courses. Based on a Proferes' step-by-step film directing methodology, the digital workspace serves as a template, asking the students the necessary questions to help envision their films with clarity while facilitating the creative process of staging, camera, storyboards with customized drawing and visualization tools.
