Here and in the following two paragraphs, Dr. Ambedkar speaks of the evils of 'Chaturvarnya.' But he has earlier applied that term particularly to the (allegedly) reformed, merit-based varna system proposed by the Arya Samaj. For clarity, 'the Caste System' has been substituted since here he is criticizing historical facts, not the Arya Samaj's new vision of merit-based 'Chaturvarnya.'
