Acacia works with the CCNMTL video group to create audio and video content for classroom use. As a digital video specialist, she is responsible for archiving and cataloging media, managing secure online content, processing faculty video product requests, and working with the video team on CCNMTL productions. Some of the CCNMTL productions she has worked on include MySmileBuddy and SLATE. Prior to joining the Center, Acacia was a live sound engineer for popular music clubs around New York City, including CBGB’s and the Continental. She also worked as a freelance video producer, producing and editing experimental video content for live music performances, off-Broadway productions, and short narrative films. Acacia graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a bachelors in Liberal Arts and concentrations in film and literature. Acacia is pursuing a masters degree in communication and education from Teachers College.
