The Frontiers of Science: Scientific Habits of Mind Multimedia Study Environment is an optional text intended to assist students with an understanding of the fundamental habits of scientific thinking. It provides concepts and examples of the common scientific abilities we hope to foster in all Columbia graduates. The text is supplementary to the Frontiers of Science Tutorials that are a required part of the student reading assignments for the course. There are seven Tutorials, all of which are available on the Courseworks lecture site, along with practice problems, and solutions.
