A leading figure in the Jat-Pat-Todak Mandal of Lahore. Sant Ram was an untouchable from district Hoshiarpur (Punjab), a B.A., and a member of the Arya Samaj. He was instrumental in the founding of the Mandal in 1922. Sant Ram eventually published an autobiography, My Experiences in Life [Mere Jivan Anubhav].
