The Nation of Islam has never been clear as to where in the U.S. they would secede to. There have been a variety of suggestions from within the Nation, including the secession of a few contiguous states in any region. The creation of spearate Black State is a fundamental goal of many Black Nationalist organizations. While many Black Nationalist organizations each call for a separate Black state in different locations, the Nation of Islam is clear that Black economic, social, and political autonomy within what is now the United States is a goal that they are dedicated to.
