New Media in Education 2008: Connecting a Global Community Conference
Thank you for attending the NME 2008 Conference. The conference seeks to stimulate a dialogue on pedagogical best practices and the future possibilities of an interconnected classroom. We anticipate new ideas, innovations, and collaborations to be the outcome for faculty, instructors, librarians, technologists, and other interested individuals who plan to attend the conference.
The NME 2008 Conference will consist of six time slots covering a wide range of topics in session and workshop format. Conference attendees can register online for conference sessions, which include demonstrations, panels, and discussions. Registration for conference workshops will take place on site. All sessions will be recorded and made available on the conference Web site shortly after the conference.
The New Media in Education 2008 Conference would not be possible without the numerous contributions from the faculty speakers and our staff. We thank the faculty for their willingness to share their classroom experiences and we appreciate the CCNMTL staff for their diligence and immense energy that they bring to the conference. We also thank Apple Computer Inc., specifically Ronnie Peters, for its generous support of the conference.
