Blonsky was president and CEO of the Central Park Conservancy and also served as the city-appointed Central Park Administrator. He started with the Central Park Conservancy in 1985 and became Administrator in 1998, when the city and the conservancy entered into a formal management agreement. He studied plant science and landscape architecture at the University of Delaware and Rutgers University.
