Stuart High handled marketing and special projects for the News Reporter and whiteville.com. After graduating from UNC at Chapel Hill in 1985, she worked in marketing for Keystone Investments in Boston, and a year later moved to back to North Carolina, working for the Charlotte Observer in advertising and market research until 1992. In 2010, she returned to the family newspaper.
