Creativity and Culture Through The Lens of Copyright

The documentary Citizen 3.0 explores the relationship among media, technology, culture and democracy through the lens of copyright law. Subtitled, "Copyright, Creativity and Contemporary Culture," the movie features interviews with artists, legal scholars, lawyers and educators while exploring copyright issues created by the digitization of media. The filmmakers' witty movie and audio clips selections add an engrossing and thought-provoking commentary to the issues.

Citizen 3.0 was created and produced by Leigh and Jason Morfoot and features a number of Columbia scholars including, Jane Ginsburg, Jane Gaines, Todd Gitlin, and CCNMTL's own, Frank Moretti.
