CCNMTL Executive Director Frank Moretti was the keynote speaker at the Information Technology in Teaching and Learning Conference at Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland on May 20, 2010. The annual conference is designed for Coppin faculty to present findings on their uses of technology to enhance the teaching and learning process. During his keynote address, Mr. Moretti gave an overview of CCNMTL's outlook on new media and education, noting that it is the responsibility of educators and students to determine the utility of technology in the classroom. Mr. Moretti also demonstrated several CCNMTL projects, ranging from the Center's earlier work on the Autobiography of Malcolm X to more recent projects such as the Millennium Village Simulation. A video of the presentation is available from Coppin State.
