Visitors from Around the World Meet with CCNMTL

Home > News & Updates > Visitors from Around the World Meet with CCNMTL

February 19, 2010. Over its 11-year history, CCNMTL has met with hundreds of visitors from around the world to share our work, discuss the newest innovations in education and technology, and build partnerships for future collaborations. This semester is no exception. In January and February alone, Center representatives have met with delegations from North Korea, Palestine, Colombia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

A delegation led by the Chancellor of Kim Chaek University of Technology in Pyongyang, North Korea visited the Center in January, one of the few times that the head of a North Korean university has visited the United States. In February, three instructional technologists from Palestine met with CCNMTL executive director Frank Moretti and several other CCNMTL staff members to learn about the Center's work in the hopes of creating similar new media organizations in universities in Palestine. Additionally, representatives from the Universidad de los Andes, the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, and the Krgyz Republic all visited the Center over the past few weeks to learn about CCNMTL services, projects, and strategic initiatives.
