Jason Felch joined the Los Angeles Times in 2004. He worked at the paper first as an intern, and then was hired as a reporter. From the start, Felch did investigative reporting, covering a variety of topics from the misuse of DNA evidence, to corruption in the art world, and fraud perpetrated upon disaster victims. Felch was a teacher before becoming a journalist.
