Beth Shuster became the Education Editor for K-12 at the Los Angeles Times in 2006. The Times hired Shuster in 1994 to cover the schools. She had also reported on City Hall, the Los Angeles Police Department, and local political races. While at the Times , Shuster was a member of reporting teams that won Pulitzer Prizes in 1994 and 1998 for breaking news reporting.
