Columbia faculty, staff, and administrators are invited learn about using the portfolio tool in Courseworks for student learning and assessment at a session presented by CCNMTL staff on Wednesday, March 27 from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. The presentation will be held in Butler Library, Room 523.

Electronic portfolios, known as e-portfolios, are systematic collections of evidence that demonstrates what a student has learned over time. These collections often include both work samples and reflections on learning and are designed to be presented to specific audiences.

At this session, CCNMTL’s Michelle Hall and Steve Welsh will demonstrate Courseworks’ portfolio tool and discuss how to best use it in courses. Faculty and administrators from the Medical Center campus will describe current e-portfolio projects at the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Mailman School of Public Health.
