April 28, 2009. CCNMTL recently produced an introductory video on the Film Language Glossary, an web-based film study tool. Developed in 2005 by CCNMTL and Columbia School of the Arts Professor Richard Pena, the Film Language Glossary provides definitions of essential terms used in basic and advanced film courses. In the introductory video, Professor Pena navigates through the glossary and demonstrates how to view clips and locate glossary terms. The video introduces interested Columbia University instructors to the Film Language Glossary and provides general information about the tool to new users.
