Home > News & Updates > CCNMTL Hosts Open House at Jewish Theological Seminary

The Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL) and the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) Provost Office will be hosting an Open House for faculty from JTS on Tuesday, April 17 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m in Unterberg 501.

At this informal event, JTS faculty are invited to drop in to learn about CCNMTL and to discuss how CCNMTL's support and services can be used by JTS faculty. JTS faculty will be introduced to Kenny Hirschmann, CCNMTL’s newly-hired senior educational technologist for JTS. Kenny and other CCNMTL staff will demonstrate recent CCNMTL projects to serve as inspiration for conversations around potential applications of technology to JTS courses. The event will be held in Unterberg 501, a space expected to become the locus of faculty activity around educational technology and pedagogy.

This event is open to JTS faculty and staff only. Light refreshments will be provided. No RSVP is required.
