November 25, 2008. CCNMTL and the Center for Education Research and Evaluation are co-sponsoring a new seminar, Facilitating Critical Reflection Online, for faculty and instructors on Thursday, December 18th on Columbia's medical campus. This seminar will focus on the value of critical reflection and the enhancements that online environments offer to the exercises of writing, reflecting, and journaling. A CCNMTL educational technologist will demonstrate a range of technologies, including wikis, Google Docs, blogs, and e-portfolios, that can be used to facilitate online reflection and self-assessment.
