Richard Stallman, MacArthur-Award-winner, Harvard alum, founder of the GNU Project and Free Software Foundation, hacker and freedom advocate, will be visiting Columbia on Friday, October 17. He will be presenting a new (and free) talk about online education –"“Libre Software, Libre Education”"– from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM in 523 Butler.
