January 11, 2010. The spring semester is just around the corner! Attend a Faculty Development Workshop from January 11-21 and learn how to use digital teaching tools that can enhance your course communications and achieve your curricular goals in 2010.

Our hands-on workshops, designed for Columbia faculty and instructors, will take you through both basic and advanced applications of educational teaching tools that enable you to distribute course materials and promote student participation using online media. In our newest EdBlogs workshop, discover how you can keep the conversation going outside of the classroom with a course blog. EdBlogs can be used as a journaling platform, a course newsletter, or a way to explore course-related texts or events.

CCNMTL is also offering workshops on podcasting and online video. During these instructive sessions, you'll learn how course materials can be disseminated in video or audio formats that students can access around the clock. Finally, get your course website or wiki started with CourseWorks and Columbia Wikispaces workshops, where you will learn how to administer your course sites to effectively meet your curricular objectives.
