CCNMTL held its 5th annual Fall Premiere yesterday. For the first time the session was held on both Morningside and CUMC campuses. This year, the highlight was the start of the transition to a new learning management system based on Sakai which is called New CourseWorks during the transition semesters.
CCNMTL also rolled out its new support system (hosted by UserVoice.com), which is located at https://support.ccnmtl.columbia.edu. The primary feature is an ever-growing knowledge base that will offer instant answers to most common questions about CCNMTL's services. Access to the UserVoice system will be via a link or tab widget placed throughout CCNMTL's web pages.
During the Fall Premiere, attendees were also given a quick overview of how to use Twitter to stay connected to CCNMTL and related groups and topics. Lastly, CCNMTL staff highlighted updates to the Columbia on iTunes U, Wikispaces, and EdBlogs.
