July 21, 2009. Calling all CUMC Faculty: Register now for CCNMTL Faculty Development Workshops at CUMC on CourseWorks, Wikispaces, and podcasting. These hands-on workshops are led by CCNMTL educational technologists and are designed for faculty members to learn both basic and advanced uses of online course management, collaboration, and audio and video technologies for classroom use.

Podcasting Essentials: Creation and Distribution

The Podcasting Essentials workshop will provide in-depth information on how audio and video content is being produced for students in higher education, and will explain how podcasting has helped distribute educational media. The second portion of the workshop will provide a step-by-step demonstration on how to create audio and video media that can be used in a podcast or any other web-based environment. There will also be a brief demonstration on how you can use online platforms such as iTunes U to promote your media materials.
