Brian Greene, professor of physics and mathematics at Columbia University, spoke at Columbia on May 8 about his latest project, World Science U. A video of the event is now available.
Professor Greene was joined by Claudia Dreifus, a journalist and adjunct professor at Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, who is well known for her interviews for The New York Times with leading figures in world politics and science. Maurice Matiz, acting executive director of the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL), moderated the discussion.
In the video, Greene discusses online learning and the changing role of the university professor. The talk was part of Conversations on Online Learning, a guest speaker series sponsored by Columbia’s Office of the Provost and CCNMTL.
