The Columbia University Analyzer was a personal digital portfolio application developed for course preparation, project management, study, research, and writing. With this unique tool, available to all students and faculty from 2001-2003, users were able to create web-linked multimedia expressions using content from the web. Users collected text, audio, video, and links and for use in an offline workspace, where one could catalog, annotate, and analyze them in context.
The Columbia University Analyzer was a customized edition of Hyperfolio, a revolutionary web tool developed in 2000-2001 by Learn Technologies Interactive, Inc. The application is no longer supported by CCNMTL.
