Biography: SimronSingh
Simron Singh was an anthropologist at the Institute of Social Ecology in Vienna, Austria. In 2004, he was one of the world痴 experts on the Nicobar Islands off the coast of India. For example, from 1999-2001 he conducted research for the Indian government (Department of Culture) on a project called Conserving and Promoting Tribal Culture預 Study of the Endangered Nicobarese and Shompen Tribes. Singh held a PhD from the Department of Ethnology at Lund University, Sweden, and a master痴 degree in ecology and environment from the Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment, New Delhi.
