Biography: WilliHaas

Willi Haas trained as a mechanical engineer and worked at the Institute of Social Ecology in Vienna as a senior researcher and lecturer. He first joined ISE in 1997 after a stint working in South Africa, and rejoined in 2005 after another period in southern Africa. His background included training in industrial engineering, ergonomics and business economics. His research interests included material flow analysis, interdisciplinary research and sustainable development.
