IAT v1.0 was originally created by the Columbia Center for New Media Teaching and Learning (CCNMTL) in late 2003 for use by Professor Letty Moss-Salentijn at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. In fall 2004 a refined version of the IAT was released for by faculty and their students of other disciplines.
