Jim High

James C. “Jim” High was one of North Carolina’s longest-serving newspaper publishers. He became publisher of the Pulitzer Prize-winning News Reporter in 1958. Under his guidance, the News Reporter became one of the leading community newspapers in the state, known for investigative journalism as well as a commitment to printing positive local news.
