Roberto Pizarro was executive director of Fundación Carvajal. Originally a civil engineer, Pizarro worked for over 30 years in social regional development. Before arriving at FC, he worked for almost three decades for the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, where he occupied different leadership roles including the directorship of the Valle del Cauca chapter.
