Miriam Gómez was a community leader in Ladera. She arrived in the Ladera neighborhood at its creation in the early 2000s, and became involved in community development activities early on. When Fundación Carvajal social workers started visiting the neighborhood, she became a major ally. After attending the Leaders School, she remained strongly involved in community development activities.
