Biography: Donald Rosenberg

An accomplished French horn player, Rosenberg was named principal classical music critic of the Plain Dealer in 1992 after working for the Pittsburgh Press and the Akron Beacon Journal .  He holds a master of music and master of musical arts degrees from the Yale School of Music and a bachelor of music degree from Mannes College of Music. He served back-to-back two-year terms as president of the Music Critics Association beginning in 2001; he was re-elected to that post in 2009.
