A. J. Daulerio joined Deadspin as a senior editor in March 2008. In July that year, he was named editor-in-chief, a position he held until January 2012, when he took over as editor of Gawker . Prior to joining Deadspin , he was a staff writer for Philadelphia Magazine and held reporting and writing positions at various newspapers and other publications . He holds a bachelors degree in communications and English from LaSalle University.
