Will Leitch was a founding editor of Deadspin , which launched in September 2005. He moved in 2008 to become a contributing editor for New York Magazine , where he has written about sports and other subjects. His writing has appeared in The New York Times , GQ , and Slate , among others. He has written four books: Life as a Loser , Catch , Are We Winning? and God Save the Fan . He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
