D. Varying the Contractility of the Ventricle
The slider marked "Contractility" controls strength of the ventricular
contraction during systole..
You will be asked to vary the contractility and notice what happens to
the P-V loop.
The upper guideline represents the end systolic pressure-volume relation
(ESPVR).
Clicking on "Reset" redraws ESPVR using the current Contractility setting.
Try changing the graph first without using Reset, then use it as needed.
Follow the instructions and click on the appropriate changes as in the
previous exercise.
