YouTube Adds Downloads and Creative Commons Licenses

YouTube is now offering some content creators the option to add a Creative Commons license to their video uploads. In a related move, YouTube has added an option to allow downloading of certain videos. Downloadable videos are free or include a fee and the videos can be purchased via Google Checkout. Creators offering downloadable videos can set the price and the license for these videos. Both of these features are in beta and are being tested with a limited set of partners.
