Patti Myers has been active in operational analysis and systems issues for more than 30 years. ComPlan Associates, her consulting practice, guides newspaper, magazine, catalog, book, and commercial operations to better implement publishing and information systems. Most projects involve detailed mapping and analysis of current operations, and the development of improved operations and organizational structures. Her clients have included the Tampa Tribune , Orange County Register , San Francisco Chronicle , and TV Guide.

Myers began her career as an employee of AM/Varityper, where she provided sales and training support. She later moved to Compugraphic where she advanced to marketing and product development management. She attended Ohio State University and majored in English and psychology.
