PL³P Goals

Some of the objectives of the PL³P project are:

1. To produce Web-based didactic content and educational scaffolding to serve as learning resources.
2. To optimize resident learning through a Personalized Lifelong Learning Plan.
3. To provide pedagogical faculty training to facilitate, enhance, and stimulate the residents' learning experience.

The PL³P site encourages reflection and self-assessment. Faculty mentors provide ongoing feedback, guiding residents through a thoughtfully constructed process that challenges them to:

• Examine critical issues related to their clinical services,
• Connect service experience to course work,
• Enhance the development of professional skills and values,
• Find personal relevance in the work.
