New Higher Education Assessment Portal

cndls_assessment.png Georgetown's Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship recently launched an online Assessment Portal aimed at assisting Georgetown faculty with course and program assessments. The portal includes practical guidance and examples for an entire reflective teaching cycle from identifying course goals to collecting and interpreting evidence of learning as well as how to apply one's findings to new iterations of courses and programs.

Even in its infancy the site serves as a model to other institutions looking to constantly improve teaching and learning practices through quality assessment design and execution.
