The Centre for Learning & Performance Technologies (C4LPT), based in the UK, has compiled its third annual top 100 tools for learning by "inviting learning professionals from all over the world to share their top 10 tools for learning." The top five for the emerging 2009 list are:

1. Twitter
2. Delicious
3. Google Reader
4. WordPress
5. YouTube

What makes this list different than other similar lists are the summary pages provided for each tool that includes comments from contributors indicating why they selected the tool as one of their top 10.
