Biography: AdamGoodman


Adam Goodman, deputy managing editor/metro & business news at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch , oversaw the newspaper's regional and financial news coverage and led a staff of about 70 reporters and editors. Goodman joined the Post-Dispatch in 1987 as a business reporter and worked a variety of reporting and editing jobs over the years.

As an editor, Goodman oversaw numerous investigations, including fraud and mismanagement at the St. Louis Housing Authority and coverups of sexual abuse by priests in local dioceses of the Roman Catholic Church. A 1984 graduate of Stanford University, Goodman spent many of his undergraduate hours at the Stanford Daily student newspaper, including a stint as editor. Prior to joining the Post-Dispatch , Goodman worked as a reporter for the Press-Enterprise in Riverside, CA.
